Terms and conditions & privacy policy
Policies
By booking an appointment, requesting a quote, or using this website, you agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy below.
Effective date — August 15, 2026
Terms & Conditions
Welcome to El Estuche Ink LLC. By booking an appointment, requesting a quote, submitting a form, purchasing a product, receiving a service, or interacting with our studio through our physical location, social media profiles, or website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
We recommend that you read them carefully before booking or receiving any service.
Appointments and deposits
All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to reserve the artist's or piercer's time and space. The deposit amount may vary depending on the type of service, estimated duration, and final price.
The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of the service on the day of the appointment.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the loss of the deposit.
No-shows, frequent cancellations, or repeated rescheduling may result in the loss of the deposit and/or denial of future bookings.
Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by El Estuche Ink LLC or required by applicable law.
Late arrivals
We ask all clients to arrive on time for their appointments in order to respect the time reserved for each service and avoid delays that may affect other clients.
A grace period of up to 10 minutes may be allowed, provided that the delay does not significantly affect the artist's or studio's schedule.
If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, depending on the type of service, appointment length, and artist availability, El Estuche Ink LLC may:
- Reduce the amount of time available for the service.
- Modify or limit the service when possible.
- Reschedule the appointment.
- Cancel the appointment if there is no longer enough time to safely and properly perform the procedure.
The maximum late arrival allowance is 20 minutes after the scheduled appointment time.
Arrivals of 20 minutes or more late may be considered a missed appointment or late cancellation.
If an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled due to the client's late arrival, the original deposit may be forfeited and a new deposit may be required to book another appointment.
If you know you are going to be late, you must contact us as soon as possible. Letting us know about the delay does not guarantee that we will be able to keep your appointment, as this will depend on the scheduled service, artist availability, and appointments following yours.
El Estuche Ink LLC and the artist reserve the right to determine whether there is enough time to properly perform the service without compromising safety, quality, or the schedule of other clients.
If the delay is caused by El Estuche Ink LLC or the artist, the client will not be penalized or lose their deposit as a result of that delay.
Age, identification, and consent requirements
Clients 18 years of age or older must present a valid government-issued photo ID before receiving a tattoo or piercing service.
As a policy of El Estuche Ink LLC, services for minors are limited to clients who are 16 or 17 years old, provided that all applicable requirements are met.
A parent or legal guardian must be physically present at the studio during the authorization process and must provide the required documentation.
Both the minor and the parent or legal guardian must present valid identification and, when necessary, official documentation that verifies the legal relationship between them.
El Estuche Ink LLC reserves the right to refuse service if the identification or documentation provided is incomplete, inconsistent, does not allow us to verify the required information, or does not meet applicable requirements.
Before receiving any tattoo or piercing service, each client must complete and sign the appropriate consent and disclosure forms provided by the studio or artist.
Health and safety conditions
Clients are responsible for informing us before the procedure of any medical condition or circumstance that may affect the service or healing process, including but not limited to:
- Known allergies.
- Skin conditions or irritation.
- Blood-borne illnesses.
- Pregnancy.
- Medications currently being taken.
- Healing complications.
- Existing inflammation or infection in the area.
- Any other condition that could affect the procedure or healing process.
El Estuche Ink LLC reserves the right to refuse, stop, or postpone a service if the artist believes that performing the procedure could present a risk to the client, artist, staff, or sanitary conditions of the studio.
If a medical condition requires professional evaluation, we may recommend that the client consult a healthcare professional before receiving the service.
Quotes, designs, and intellectual property
Quotes provided by our artists or staff are based on the information available at the time of the consultation, including:
- Approximate size and proportions.
- Tattoo placement.
- Requested style.
- Level of detail.
- References provided.
- Condition of an existing tattoo when requesting a touch-up or cover-up.
- Information and instructions provided by the client.
- Estimated time required to design and complete the work.
An initial quote is based exclusively on the information provided by the client at that time.
If the client later changes the size, placement, style, level of detail, composition, or adds elements that were not mentioned during the original quote, the price may be adjusted.
Each modification may require additional design, preparation, and procedure time.
Photos, references, and digitally generated or modified images
Photos and references submitted for a quote should represent the area to be worked on as accurately as possible.
Images generated, altered, or enhanced using artificial intelligence (AI), filters, editing applications, or other digital tools will be considered references only.
If an image submitted for a quote visually alters or misrepresents the size, proportions, anatomy, color, skin condition, or appearance of an existing tattoo, the quote may be adjusted after the area is evaluated in person.
If, at the time of the appointment, the tattoo, skin, or area to be worked on is significantly different from what was shown or described during the consultation, an additional charge may apply.
If these differences make the procedure technically unfeasible, unsafe, or significantly different from the project originally quoted, El Estuche Ink LLC and the artist reserve the right to refuse or reschedule the service.
Designs and intellectual property
Custom designs created by our artists may be based on ideas, references, and instructions provided by the client.
The final design will be presented to the client for review and must be approved before the procedure begins.
Our artists reserve the right to refuse the exact reproduction of copyrighted artwork, illustrations, tattoos, or designs belonging to third parties and may recommend modifications or create an original interpretation of the requested concept.
Original designs specifically created by our artists remain the intellectual property of their respective creator unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Preparing for your appointment
To help maintain appropriate conditions during your procedure, we recommend following these guidelines before receiving a tattoo or piercing:
- Arrive at your appointment completely sober. We recommend avoiding recreational drugs and alcohol for at least 24 to 48 hours before your appointment.
- Keep your skin moisturized during the days leading up to the procedure.
- Eat properly and stay well hydrated before your appointment.
- Get adequate sleep and rest the night before your appointment.
- If you begin feeling sick or develop symptoms within 48 hours of your appointment, contact your artist as soon as possible so they can determine whether rescheduling is recommended.
- Inform us in advance of any known allergies, including previous allergies or reactions involving pigments, metals, adhesives, cleaning products, or other materials.
- Inform your artist of any medication or medical condition that could affect the procedure.
Numbing cream
Do not apply numbing cream to the area being tattooed without informing your artist in advance.
Some topical numbing products may temporarily change the texture or condition of the skin and may affect how the artist performs the procedure.
If you would like to use numbing cream, you must notify your artist in advance.
El Estuche Ink LLC may offer numbing cream for certain procedures for an additional fee, depending on the project.
Providing advance notice allows the artist to properly prepare for the appointment and accurately estimate the time and cost of the service.
If you use medication or anesthetic products under the direction of a healthcare professional, follow your healthcare provider's instructions and inform your artist before the procedure.
Results, healing, and piercings
Although El Estuche Ink LLC uses professional materials, proper hygiene procedures, appropriate techniques, and suitable jewelry for initial piercings, results and healing times may vary depending on individual factors such as:
- Skin type.
- Anatomy.
- Placement.
- Style or technique used.
- Natural healing process.
- Aftercare performed by the client.
The client is responsible for properly following all aftercare instructions provided by the studio or artist.
Aftercare instructions may be found through our digital platforms and at our studio.
If you are unable to locate the instructions for your specific service, you may contact El Estuche Ink LLC or your artist directly to request them.
Piercings
The healing process of a piercing depends significantly on daily care, anatomy, and each client's individual response.
Depending on the type and location of the piercing, healing may take several months and, in some cases, one year or longer.
If a piercing develops irritation, swelling, unusual discomfort, or another complication, you may contact us so we can evaluate the jewelry, placement, and visible condition of the piercing and provide guidance related to its care.
Jewelry changes, replacements, adjustments, or other additional services may be subject to additional fees depending on the service required.
El Estuche Ink LLC does not replace evaluation or treatment by a medical professional. If there are signs of a possible infection or other medical complication, we may recommend that the client seek professional medical attention.
Placement confirmation
Before performing a tattoo or piercing, the artist or piercer will show and confirm the selected placement with the client.
It is the client's responsibility to carefully review the position, orientation, and placement before authorizing the procedure.
Once a tattoo has been completed, its placement cannot be changed.
In the case of a piercing, if the client decides after the procedure that they are not satisfied with a placement they previously approved, the jewelry may be removed when appropriate.
A new piercing may be performed once the area has properly recovered and will be considered a new service, subject to the current price at that time.
Payments, refunds, and touch-ups
Completed tattoo and piercing services are non-refundable.
Product and jewelry sales are considered final for hygiene and safety reasons, except when another remedy is required under applicable law.
Before beginning the procedure, the tattoo design, size, orientation, or piercing placement will be reviewed and confirmed with the client.
The procedure will begin only after the client has provided approval and completed all required forms.
Tattoo touch-ups
At the artist's discretion, one complimentary touch-up may be offered within the first 60 days after the tattoo, provided that the area has healed properly.
Eligibility for a complimentary touch-up will be determined by the artist.
Complimentary touch-ups do not automatically apply to tattoos placed in areas known to experience greater pigment loss or wear, including:
- Hands.
- Fingers.
- Wrists.
- Feet.
- Other areas subject to high friction or movement.
When a tattoo is placed in an area that is more likely to experience pigment loss, the artist may inform the client of this possibility before the procedure.
Touch-ups required as a result of improper aftercare, excessive exposure, skin picking or manipulation, injury, or other circumstances unrelated to the original procedure may be subject to an additional fee.
Studio rules
The purpose of our studio rules is to provide a professional, clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our clients, artists, and staff.

The following will not be tolerated:

- Arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

El Estuche Ink LLC maintains a drug-free environment at all times for the comfort and safety of our clients, artists, and staff.
Any behavior that compromises the safety, hygiene, or professional environment of the studio may result in the immediate suspension or termination of the service.
El Estuche Ink LLC reserves the right to refuse entry or to refuse, cancel, suspend, or discontinue a service for reasons related to safety, hygiene, behavior, technical feasibility, or compliance with studio policies, in accordance with applicable law.
Results and limitation of liability
The client acknowledges that tattoos and piercings involve individual healing processes and that results may vary from person to person.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, El Estuche Ink LLC and its staff will not be responsible for complications resulting from:
- Medical conditions, allergies, or relevant information that the client failed to disclose before the procedure.
